NVIDIA announced a broad partnership with Tata Group to provide AI compute infrastructure and platforms for the development of AI solutions. The cooperation will make cutting-edge AI capabilities available to thousands of organizations, corporations, and AI researchers in India, as well as hundreds of startups. To attain best-in-class performance, the firms will collaborate to construct an AI supercomputer powered by the next-generation NVIDIA® GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip.

“The global generative AI race is in full steam,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. “Data centers worldwide are shifting to GPU computing to build energy-efficient infrastructure to support the exponential demand for generative AI.

“We are delighted to partner with Tata as they expand their cloud infrastructure service with NVIDIA AI supercomputing to support the exponential demand of generative AI startups and processing of large language models.” Huang said.

Tata Communications and NVIDIA will collaborate in India to build an AI cloud that will provide crucial infrastructure for computing's next lifecycle. The combination of Tata Communications' powerful global network and the AI cloud will enable organizations to transport data across the AI cloud at rapid rates, effectively bringing the AI cloud to the doorstep of any enterprise.

TCS will create and process generative AI applications using the AI infrastructure and capabilities. TCS will be able to collaborate with its clients even more effectively thanks to the NVIDIA alliance. TCS will also use the relationship to upskill its 600,000-strong staff. This collaboration will also help to accelerate the AI-led transformation of Tata Group enterprises spanning from manufacturing to consumer goods.
