The global computer software company Adobe announced a new cooperation with India's Union Education Ministry. The cooperation aims to implement an Adobe Express-based curriculum and training in schools across India by 2027, with an ambitious goal of reaching over two crore kids and five lakh instructors. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan made the official announcement at the G-20 Leaders' Summit in India.

Commenting on the importance of this partnership, Pradhan stated, "In the time of digitisation, new ideas, new innovation and creativity, this partnership is going to create a new standard and benchmark for students."

As part of the agreement, K-12 schools across the country will gain free access to Adobe Express Premium, which is poised to revolutionize India's education sector. Using Adobe Express tools, the program will cover cutting-edge themes such as creativity, generative AI, design, animation, video, and other upcoming technologies. Educators who finish the course will also be eligible for the coveted Adobe Creative Educators accreditation.

Speaking about the partnership, Mala Sharma, VP and GM, Global Education and Adobe Express, Adobe, said, "Digital literacy is a core tenet at Adobe and our partnership with India's Ministry of Education is another important step in our longstanding commitment to education and empowering India's students to make an impact in the world."

Adobe has collaborated with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in addition to the Ministry of Education. By 2022, this organization hopes to have 75,000 faculty members at 10,000 higher education institutions using Express.
