
China To Lead Global Robotics with Advanced Humanoid Robots by 2025

The ministry’s guidelines for the development of humanoid robots aim at erecting an innovation system for humanoid robots by 2025. The plan includes making breakthroughs in key technologies such as “brain, cerebellum, and limbs” to guarantee a reliable supply of core components. By 2025, China intends to make the complete humanoid robot products reach the international advanced level and accomplish mass production. By 2027, they aim to boost its technology innovation in humanoid robotics significantly, form a secure and reliable industry chain and supply chain system, construct a globally competitive industry ecology, and reach a world-class level of comprehensive strength, as per bnn.
China's move shows the country's goal to lead in many technological fields and demonstrates the country's commitment to promoting innovation and growth in the field of humanoid robots. China's emphasis on building humanoid robots is consistent with the country's larger aim to expand its technological capabilities and position itself as a worldwide leader in new technologies. The government has made major expenditures in R&D, supporting innovation, and establishing a vibrant ecosystem for the development and application of new technology.
