Google said it has collaborated with the Maharashtra government to team up and drive innovative solutions and versatile arrangements in key areas including horticulture, medical care, sustainability, education, and new companies.

The company said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the same which will allow the government to leverage Google’s AI leadership and technology expertise to unlock new possibilities in land record management, disease detection, urban environment resilience and AI upskilling amongst others, as per economic times.

"Maharashtra is committed to AI-driven development and our partnership with Google marks a significant milestone in this journey," deputy chief minister, Shri Devendra Fadnavis said in a statement. "This collaboration will empower our citizens with critical future-ready skills, revolutionize essential sectors like healthcare and agriculture, and create a thriving environment for the Maharashtra AI startups through the AI Center of Excellence at IIIT Nagpur. We see AI as the key to unlocking a more prosperous, equitable, and sustainable future for the State and are excited to partner with Google on this journey.”

Under the MoU, Google will work together with the public authority by offering new companies mentorship, systems administration, and demo days with Google specialists and industry pioneers covering regions across innovation, item improvement, business methodology, and that's just the beginning.

The public authority will use their innovation to assist with driving advancement across basic regions, for example, skilling, medical care, agribusiness, and supportability.
