In a year, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) intends to offer its staff more than 40,000 skill badges in generative AI solutions as part of an expanded cooperation with Google Cloud.

To create and implement specifically designed business solutions, the company introduced its new generative AI offering, which makes use of Google Cloud's generative AI capabilities.

This new service is driven by TCS' own products as well as the generative AI tools from Google Cloud, including Vertex AI, generative AI Application Builder, and Model Garden.

TCS claimed to have more than 25,000 engineers with Google Cloud certification. In order to meet the projected demand for its new product, TCS also has over 50,000 employees who have received AI training, and it expects that 40,000 of them will obtain skill badges on Google Cloud generative AI this year.

“With deep contextual knowledge of our customers’ businesses, we are well positioned to build innovative enterprise-level solutions using generative AI. Our launch partnership with Google Cloud on generative AI enables us to rapidly create value for our customers,” said Krishnan Ramanujam, president, enterprise growth group, TCS.

The fields of AIOps, Algo Retail, smart manufacturing, digital twins, and robotics are among those in which TCS has established a sizable portfolio of AI-powered solutions and intellectual property.

The company is presently investigating how generative AI might be utilised to add value in clients' particular business contexts across a range of industries.

TCS will collaborate with clients to develop solutions, quickly prototype concepts, and create comprehensive transformation solutions with accelerated time to value using its client-specific contextual knowledge and agile development techniques.

The company's co-innovation hubs, known as TCS Pace Ports, are situated in New York, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Amsterdam, and Tokyo. At these locations, clients can also interact with start-up partners from TCS' extensive innovation ecosystem as well as academic researchers.
