
Tesco Business Services names Sanjay Dora as COO

Tesco Bengaluru, the global business services arm of UK-based retail giant Tesco PLC today declared Sanjay Dora as the chief operating officer of Tesco Business Services and country operations lead for Tesco Bengaluru.
In his new role, he will be accountable for smooth management of operations, compliance, governance, and providing country leadership to Tesco Bengaluru, according to a press release. Dora will also be a part of the TBS leadership team and a board member of Tesco Bengaluru, according to a press release. This is Dora's second stint with Tesco Bengaluru. He was previously associated as director of Tesco Business Services from 2011-2015.
Dora has experience of setting up new capabilities and running large operations to driving transformation and delivering innovation and he has proven expertise and a track record of delivering strategic outcomes within global, multi-dimensional organisations.
Dora was previously serving as India country operations executive at Australian Telecom major Telstra where he helped build technology and operations capability. Prior to this, he worked with lender ANZ as chief operating officer for their group service centres in India, the Philippines, and China.
