Microsoft, a US-based technology firm, declared four billion euros in funding for creating data centers in France, joining individual US monster Amazon in focusing on the country's tech framework. The declarations came just before the seventh Choose France Summit, the point of which was to draw in unfamiliar financial backers to the country. Macron will have it at the Chateau of Versailles near Paris.

The president of Microsoft, Brad Smith, advised AFP the transition to reinforce its artificial intelligence and cloud computing infrastructure was the tech firm's greatest-ever funding in France since its appearance a long time back. France's "longstanding obligation to carbon energy markets" and its status as a "critical leader" in Europe elaborated the decision, Smith said

Another new data center will be built in eastern France while existing sites in the Paris area and the southern city of Marseille will be extended. The e-commerce giant Amazon will put more than 1.2 billion euros in France, making more than 3,000 positions, French President Emmanuel Macron's office said on Sunday.

The amount will assist with creating Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud foundation, primarily generative artificial intelligence, and the logistical framework of its parcel delivery service, an assertion added. The US organization has previously reported making 2,000 new positions in France in 2024, which would bring its staff labor force in the country up to 24,000 by the end of the year, mostly in its logistics centers.

AWS is a principal subsidiary of the group, having made $25 billion overall in the principal quarter, gaining by the developing appetite among organizations for remote PC and artificial intelligence services
