A new line of smart cars from Turkish mobility provider Togg feature advanced AI technology from SoundHound AI, Inc., a global leader in voice artificial intelligence. This technology includes cutting-edge Edge+Cloud connectivity, multilingual capabilities, and a custom-branded voice assistant. Togg vehicles, which will debut in Q2 2023, have been dubbed a "new living space" that will reimagine mobility. Togg has partnered with SoundHound to develop a sophisticated, best-in-class speech AI as part of its tech-forward mission to build a more user-centric experience.

 

Using SoundHound's exclusive Speech-to-Meaning® and Deep Meaning Understanding technologies, Togg's in-vehicle AI-powered voice assistant is able to answer multiple questions, filter results, and track and understand the context of speech in real-time (even before the user has finished speaking). Users of Togg can use voice commands to play music, lock doors, open trunks, alter the temperature, turn on lights, and get data about nearby charging stations and battery range through SoundHound's huge library of content domains, which also includes co-developed car control services. Additionally, 25 distinct languages are supported by SoundHound's voice technology.

 

Users now have the option to control their smart vehicle experience by speaking normally, as they would to another person, thanks to this partnership between SoundHound and Togg.

 

In addition to adopting this uniquely fluent, conversational AI, Togg’s in-vehicle voice technology will also have personal touches – including custom wake words, like “Hello Togg.”
