HFCL’s wholly-owned subsidiary in the Netherlands has appointed Andrew Westerman as the Vice President of International Sales, Communication Products. In his new role, Westerman will focus on sales and business development for HFCL's entire range of Communication Products in the international market.

Westerman joins HFCL from wireless broadband solutions company Mimosa by Airspan where he was the Head of Sales, EMEA Region. He has also held leadership positions in global companies such as Ceragon Networks, Ericsson, and ICO Global Communications.

The company has also onboarded Rajesh Jain as the Executive President of the Telecom EPC Projects Business.

“His appointment will help HFCL grow its EPC projects business in both the national and international markets,” the company said. Jain comes with over 26 years of experience and prior to joining HFCL, was associated with A2Z Infra Engineering Limited, as CEO & Whole Time Director.

He has previously worked with Teracom Limited, Surana Telecom, MPI Group and Vindhya Telelinks Limited.
Santanu Bhattacharyya has joined HFCL as the Vice President and Head of FPGA Engineering.

“His appointment will help HFCL address the tremendous opportunities in the 5G space and to build HFCL's products for the global telecom markets,” the company said.

Bhattacharyya has initially worked as a research engineer with state-run Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT). He has worked with companies such as Transwitch, Solarflare, and most recently with Xilinx, where his role was of Design Engineering Director.

“The 5G and EPC sector offer plethora of possibilities and opportunities for an organization like ours, and we aim to make the most of it.
