What are the major pain points faced by customers in this segment? How do you solve them?
Some of the pressing challenges faced by customers are adoption of sales technology by trade or distributors, the cost involved in deploying software and infrastructure, high attrition in the sales workforce, managing multiple solutions for multiple companies by distributors, and connectivity issues for distributors in the small town. We have been headstrong in tackling these challenges through a combination of the best on-ground support teams to train and onboard distributors, a product suite specifically designed for smaller distributors, and a solution that allows distributors to use their preferred system and yet access the required data without any hassle. Our solutions are versatile, catering to both large companies with complex processes and medium-sized companies with less complex requirements, at an affordable price.

How is your company positioned in this market?
We are the leaders in the Distributor Management System (DMS) space. Our customers range from large enterprises to small and medium-sized companies, and some of our oldest customers have undergone multiple successful technology upgrade journeys with us. Currently, over 80,000 distributors across India use Botree DMS, 25K+ salespeople use our mobile application, and 12K+ rural distributors use our mobile DMS. In short, almost a multibillion business is run through our systems and we also have built solutions for multinationals. We are also the leaders in providing a unified platform for seamless integration of multiple technologies and managing cloud infrastructure.

Shed light on Smart Sales. Elaborate on how it helps in revamping sales with secondary and tertiary data analytics platforms.
Since we cover the largest network of CPG business in India, our Smart Sales strategy leverages data analytics to provide insights to our customers to improve efficiency, productivity, and store performance. We work on retailer segmentation, assortment compliance, and other aspects to provide intuitive and insightful dashboards of real time sales data. Through AI/ML, we are
continuously improving its data analytics capabilities, enabling customers to unlock market potential, discover white spaces, and execute hyper local sales strategies.

Please elaborate on how your platform allows companies to know the true market potential and discover white spaces to put your hyperlocal sales strategy into action.
Our unified solution captures data at every touch point of the sales process, allowing companies to categorize retailers as per their business requirement and map products to specific geography. Our mobile application enables salespeople to capture unconstrained market demand. Based on the available data, we suggest product assortments, SOQ to optimize order quantity, set outlet level targets, and facilitate secondary schemes execution. Our intuitive reporting tool, Report and Analyzer, enabling customers to gain KPI-based insights and discover untapped market opportunities.

We follow a rigorous client engagement process aimed at understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that go beyond stated requirements. We engage across all the functions of prospective clients. And our cross-functional teams comprising of sales, pre-sales, product, delivery, support, infrastructure, and commercial, are involved at every stage. Tell us about your team's expertise. How is your combined experience helping the firm grow?
With over two decades of industry experience, Botree Software's team collectively possesses over 300 years of expertise. Our passion to be the best-in-class has helped to keep us ahead of the curve. While we have the best product and service teams, we have also acquired expertise in analytics and infrastructure management. As the industry rapidly evolves, we are investing heavily in building new competencies to cater to the changing customer landscape. This enables us to provide end-to-end services to our customers a single vendor approach which is also cost-efficient.

What is the future roadmap of your company? Are you working on any innovations in your product portfolio?
We aim to maintain our leadership position in the CPG industry and expand into new markets. We rollout regular product upgrades based on the market and customer feedback. Our future roadmap is on two fronts Technical and Product. On the technical roadmap, we are incorporating multi tenancy with microservices, and stateless architecture. Since our DMS and SFA is the center for providing market visibility, we integrate with multiple third-party applications to suit the overall requirements of our customers. We are in the process of standardizing the Open APIs for others to utilize for integration. On the product roadmap, we are working on solutions that will largely benefit the distributor and retailer community. Additionally, we are also focusing on AI/ML-based data models which will tremendously benefit our customers.
