Hyundai Mobis has revealed 65 mobility technologies set to be ready for commercial use in the next two to three years. This significant accomplishment is a direct result of focusing the highest R&D investment of about 1.7 trillion KRW this year on electrification and electronics.
Hyundai Mobis is dedicated to its research and development strategy to ensure future competitiveness in the fast-changing global automotive industry.
Hyundai Mobis hosted the '2024 R&D Tech Day' at its Uiwang Research Center in Gyeonggi Province on the 4th, welcoming major domestic media outlets. Tech Day is an event held biennially by Hyundai Mobis to display its research and development accomplishments to clients. This year, the company decided to extend the invitation to external stakeholders, showing its belief in the success of its future mobility research and development efforts.
The Tech Day took place at the Electrification Research Building, a specialized facility focusing on next-generation electrification technologies, finished at the end of last year. It is crucial in bringing together the progress of important electrification aspects, such as research and development, testing, quality analysis, all in one place.
Hyundai Mobis selected 'Collective Inspiration' as the theme for this Tech Day, representing the unified teamwork among all R&D departments to deliver a complete integrated mobility solution.
