PDSL and PURE EV Declare Joint Venture To Develop Next-Gen EV 2W in UK

Pragmatic Design Solutions Ltd (PDSL), based in the United Kingdom, and PURE EV, India's leading 2W EV OEM, have announced a joint venture to work together to meet the changing needs of consumers in domestic and international markets, sharing a vision to change electric mobility and make transportation more affordable.
 
"PDSL (Pragmatic Design Solutions Limited) has been delivering leading-edge engineering and digital technology solutions since 2010, for clientele like OEMs Jaguar Land Rover, Aston Martin, Volkswagen, Bentley, Lotus, McLaren, Rivian, VInFast, Polestar, Volta Trucks, Panasonic, LG etc."
 
A path was laid out by PURE and PDSL for creating a 2W high-performance electric vehicle with an eye toward both Indian and international markets. The joint venture will be established at the Coventry University Technology Park in the United Kingdom, which is regarded as the world's leading automotive hub and EV technology center.
 
The joint venture aims to create a groundbreaking vehicle with a 250-kilometer range, a top speed of more than 100 kph, an AI-based powertrain platform with user-friendly troubleshooting, and a quick onboard charger.
 
This strategic partnership, which connects the global supply chain to the distribution network, brings together PURE EV's expertise in the design of battery and electric vehicles and PDSL's distinguished engineering services. The product will include new battery technology, a dynamic powertrain, and cutting-edge software features. Development has begun, and the launch is anticipated for early 2025.
