Garuda Aerospace, a provider of drone-as-a-service (DaaS), and Rallis India Ltd signed a memorandum of understanding to spray pesticides on crops in Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.

The drone operators will perform trials on roughly 1,000 acres of land using crops like paddy, onions, Bengal gramme, wheat, and vegetables, according to Garuda Aerospace.

Farmers and the channel partners would see an end-to-end drone service solution through the relationship with Rallis India. Agnishwar Jayaprakash, founder and CEO of Garuda Aerospace, stated that this will also make agri operations convenient for drone pilots to do better demos for the farmers.

"With the technology revolution up on us, we are moving towards a tech-adapted environment rapidly. At Rallis India, we have initiated trials and experiments of our product approvals for label expansion for drone spray," Rallis India Chief Operating Officer, S.Nagarajan said.

The goal of human-centric company Garuda Aerospace is to create affordable drone solutions that would improve various sectors through precise data. We are primarily a Drone-As-A-Software aggregator that creates flawless drones for a variety of commercial and domestic uses. We take great satisfaction in the useful intelligence that our drone solutions provide. We only got established in 2015, yet we've already had a big impact on the drone business.
