OTUS, a division of VIVOTEK (a Delta Group company), was acquired by Kneron, a leading full-stack edge AI firm. A provider of cameras and imaging systems, OTUS focuses on applications for virtual reality, the automobile industry, and other panoramic settings. The business and Kneron have collaborated extensively over the past two years to jointly commercialise a number of automotive applications.

 

Due to the automotive sectors' rapid growth, OTUS, a provider of vehicle solutions, has seen significant commercial growth as well as great customer retention over the past few years. The company offers ADAS and DMS features like tracking driver behaviour and detecting road objects. OTUS provides services to a variety of international clients, the bulk of whom are currently from the US and Japanese markets.

 

While many renowned Japanese automakers have grown to rely on OTUS solutions for their imaging needs and have long-standing relationships with the company, demand for AI-integrated camera functionalities is rising among automotive consumers.

However, these solutions did not include AI functions. By integrating Kneron's edge AI capabilities with OTUS's advanced imaging solutions, we are able to create more complete product lines that will better serve our automotive customers."

 

Kneron and OTUS worked closely together on full stack solutions that integrated hardware and software prior to the current acquisition. These systems support ADAS and DMS features geared at auto clients.
