SenRa, a pan-India Long Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWAN) public network operator Wednesday said it joined hands with Actility, a company providing Low-Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) industrial-grade connectivity solutions in efforts to increase LoRaWAN adoption across the globe.
SenRa said it will combine its expertise in connectivity services and data analytics with Actility’s product portfolio for rapid deployments of LoRaWAN solutions across various Internet of Things (IoT) segments such as smart cities, industrial IoT (IIoT), smart buildings, and others, both in India and abroad.
The companies have already implemented go-to-market strategies to deploy end-to-end solutions across many verticals.
Furthermore, the integration of Actility’s ThingPark Enterprise private network server and Abeeway asset management devices has extended SenRa’s product portfolio to include indoor and outdoor tracking solutions based on LoRaWAN such as SenRa’s end-to-end smart tracking solution, uFind, as per an official statement.
Abeeway is a subsidiary of Actility. It offers geolocation solutions using tracking devices and a multi-technology location system optimized for LoRaWAN connectivity.
The companies are now deploying solutions for human safety and asset management in airports, factories, and, more recently, in the defense sector, the statement added.
