Tata Consultancy Services, an information technology company, and cybersecurity provider CrowdStrike, announced a strategic agreement to improve enterprise cybersecurity. The AI-native CrowdStrike Falcon XDR platform will be used to strengthen TCS' extended managed detection and response (XMDR) services, the company stated.

Through this collaboration, the IT major wants to use the Falcon platform's unified protection, which includes cloud security and next-generation SIEM. The outcome is supposed to be an AI-powered Security Operations Centre (SOC) change equipped to forestall breaches effectively.

The rising refinement and speed of current cyber-attacks expect associations to put resources into security protection with a particular spotlight on forestalling breaks. With cloud interruptions expanding by 75% in the previous year and breakout times presently estimated in minutes, oversaw security arrangements have become fundamental for users to safeguard their essential resources and safely execute digital transformation drives.

“TCS has been partnering with enterprises globally for over 20 years to secure their businesses. As the attack surface evolves, enterprises must secure their digital core with robust cybersecurity to foster growth and innovation," said Ganesa Subramanian Vaikuntam, vice president and Global Head of the Cybersecurity Business Group at TCS.

"Our partnership with CrowdStrike enhances our capabilities to provide stronger cyber defense to our customers and shield them from modern, sophisticated cyber threats," Vaikuntam added.

"The Falcon platform has set the global standard, becoming the AI platform of choice for cybersecurity for businesses and their trusted delivery partners. This partnership brings CrowdStrike closer to customers, empowering TCS' large, global footprint to modernise, innovate, and standardise on the Falcon platform," said Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike.
