The marketplace software market has witnessed significant changes in recent years. While horizontal marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart have seen steady growth, the most remarkable surge has been in vertical marketplaces. The rise of direct-to consumer models and innovative concepts such as subscription-based products have fueled the growth of vertical marketplaces. In an era of abundant options, vertical marketplaces offer consumers a more focused and unique shopping experience. As the B2C brand landscape continues to expand, vertical marketplaces are expected to grow even more, catering to consumers seeking distinctive products.

How does Appscrip approach solutions for online marketplace software? What technologies does Appscrip employ, and how does it set itself apart from other marketplace software vendors?
Appscrip's approach to marketplace software solutions is comprehensive. We understand the need for a multi-platform presence in today's competitive marketplace. While there are existing solutions like WordPress, Woocommerce, Magento, and Shopify, Appscrip differentiates itself by offering a 360-degree view of marketplace development. Can you explain Appscrip's client engagement process from project initiation to execution?
Appscrip's client engagement process begins with a workshop to understand the client's needs and align them with our product offerings. We consult with clients to assess the match between their requirements and our products. If there's a gap, we work together to define a roadmap. Once the project starts, we focus on user experience design and technical setup, including web and app development. We customize the solution according to the client's specific needs. After the initial launch, we continue to provide support and can assist in building an internal tech team for the client as needed.

Kindly share some milestones in Appscrip's journey since its inception.
Appscrip started as a development shop in 2012 and transitioned to building platforms to improve service delivery. In 2015-16, we pivoted towards building products that reduced development workload. We revamped our technology stack in 2017-18 to stay up-to-date. The staff augmentation business picked up, leading to significant growth. In 2020, we expanded to multiple offices, and our tech demand surged. In recent times, we've shifted back towards product development and launched a unique monthly payment plan for customers to increase our product adoption.

What are Appscrip's goals for the next coming years?
Appscrip's vision for the next five years includes expanding our footprint, deepening integration with clients through platforms and SaaS offerings, and adopting new technologies such as generative AI and pro-code solutions. We aim to focus on growing monthly recurring revenue and annual revenue while emphasizing the use of cross-platform technologies to reach a wider audience. Our goal is to become a leader in tailoring solutions for clients, helping them achieve their business objectives more efficiently. Therefore, our journey has evolved from a development shop to a platform and product provider, and we now envision a future where we play a pivotal role in shaping the marketplace software landscape with innovative solutions and a client-focused approach.
