MobileComm, a worldwide telecom engineering firm has been acquired by UST, a leading digital transformation solutions company. The deal of Dallas-based Mobilecomm, as well as the integration of its approximately 1300 employees, will considerably boost UST's telecommunications practice and position the business to continue growing in this competitive area.

For the last 21 years, MobileComm has worked with some of the major Communications Service Providers (CSPs) on a variety of projects such as wireless network modernization, 5G network rollout, network performance enhancement, RF engineering, private cellular networks, and Open RAN. MobileComm was created in 2002 and currently operates in the United States, India, and Canada. Its skilled team of professionals delivers a wide range of wireless engineering capabilities.

As telecom workloads migrate to the cloud and open networks become more common, maintaining complicated multi-vendor, multi-technology, and multi-cloud networks becomes increasingly important. With this strategic purchase, UST will be able to combine its extensive experience in cloud and devsecops with MobileComm's wireless engineering talents, resulting in unique options for Communications Service Provider (CSP) clients.

"We are proud to announce the acquisition of MobileComm. We believe this strategic move will further empower UST to continue developing our wide range of compelling solutions in the telecommunications sector. We are now better positioned to leverage our existing technologies and client relationships to expand the scope of our offerings and deliver bespoke solutions that accelerate digital transformation. UST will build upon this momentum by continuing to invest in the network engineering space," said Aravind Nandanan, General Manager, Telecommunications, UST.
