In contrast to the current scenario, where Developers download SDK (Software Development Kit) and Emulators to build apps, the A2Zapps’ App Builder is a visual development tool online, with lego-block like pieces that can be dragged/dropped/mixed/matched to build apps, with little or no knowledge of coding required.

A2Zapps’ third key differentiator is its full-feature social network. This network gives large enterprises an opportunity to build, engage and grow their communities - providing them the ability to unify communication &automation under the same platform. Kundu and Purkayastha returned to India after several years in the US, with a clear objective – build the world’s leading Cloud platform, Made in India. Purkayastha, a veteran of the Global Outsourcing space, feels it is high time India started leveraging its huge base of technical talent to build its own IP, instead of playing in commoditized labour arbitrage. Kundu feels the math works out pretty well too; he says A2Zapps would probably have had to spend 4-5 times as much to build its products, if they had started up in Silicon Valley, which was the original plan.

With an aggressive plan to own 50% market share in India and 20% in US by 2016,it is being reported that A2Zapps.com is about to launch one of India’s largest social networking initiatives, spanning multiple metros. The company refused to confirm or deny this report, but mentioned they are targeting to cross 4 million users on their platform by 2015.
