By

Demand for enterprise software is soaring, according to the latest research from Gartner. The worldwide IT spending growth forecast remains reasonably healthy at 2.1 percent ($3.7 trillion) for the year, findings reveal. IT is entering its new phase of development, moving from a focus on technology and processes in the past to a focus in the future on new business models enabled by digitalization. GrayCell Technologies Exports, headquartered in Chandigarh, leads this change through its proven ISO based methodologies. The ISO 9001: 2008 certified company has proven experience across a broad range of business application areas using both open source and proprietary software technologies. As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, GrayCell has demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and proven ability to deliver on customer's needs.

The ISO standards help GrayCell in defining the processes and procedures for the organizational activities and assist it to maintain the quality in every aspect of the organizational functioning. “We maintain a Quality manual which is followed throughout the organization and have documented the following procedures to it: control of documents, control of records, internal audits, corrective and preventive action.” says Munish Jauhar, CEO, GrayCell Technologies Exports.

GCT uses a mix of online and offline tools like Basecamp, JIRA and online SVN, GIT repositories to track deliveries and keep the client updated with the work progress. A project is broken down into small weekly/fortnightly milestones and the client is kept in the loop at each stage. Each build is tested by an internal QA team and undergoes various manual and automated tests before being rolled out on the staging environment for review by the client and reaching the production environment.

A proof of the organization’s efficiency is the number of large projects which it has completed successfully under Munish’s leadership. Be it an E-Learning tool or an E-Commerce solution, GCT has touched varied segments of the industry. It has developed an E-learning Tool for a leading aviation training provider in Europe. The tool has a web, mobile and desktop component and is being used in aviation training worldwide. The company has been working with one of the leading License Plate recognition software providers in the world on a number of projects. In addition, GrayCell has been working with an Australian Startup on a Taxi booking and management solution which would be launched in the Australian market in the coming weeks. The company has also developed a web publishing tool which has been well received in the US market. GrayCell has worked closely with Ernst and Young (India) to develop various management and auditing tools which have been deployed in Large Organizations like ITC, Nestle India, Jubilant Group and Alstom India etc. The organization has also developed a website for a Global Community-wide initiative of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum.
