Nivaata Systems: Trailblazer for Real Time Location Intelligence

By

In a time when both customer as well as enterprise have gone mobile, there is a fundamental shakeup in every industry with advent of new avenues for engaging with end customers, and these avenues can be leveraged by tapping, tracking and organizing enterprise mobility at the basic level. Nivaata Systems, headquartered in Bangalore, helps enterprises harness this potential by offering a revolutionary location intelligence platform - ‘Verayu’ and associated turnkey solutions. Nivaata’s innovations help enterprises in automating, analyzing and optimizing various key business areas such as sales force effectiveness, transport automation, asset monitoring, logistics, distribution and planning.
“The key concerns for this niche domain revolve around availability and reliability. Phones are typically built with GPS for navigation, and GPS technology has fundamental limitations on both availability and reliability,” says Sriram Kannan, Founder & CEO, Nivaata Systems. The company with its PACCT technology is well positioned to work around these GPS specific limitations, by delivering locations at acceptable accuracy always. Enterprises using Verayu benefit from the deeper insights into their field force and are able to do rich spatial business analytics like never before.
Verayu redefines the concept of a “location based system” and goes beyond the capability of a simple GPS based system to acquire periodic location updates. It provides a programmable framework for acquiring and delivering the most relevant and real-time information that is actionable. To help businesses monitor and improve the efficiency of their field force, Nivaata Systems offers Verayu FieldView - a cloud based mobile workforce management system. The system provides a single dashboard for viewing real time operations with rich graphical representation of attendance, utilization and task status. FieldView allows creation of business specific mobile publishable tasks template with a drag and drop task creator tool. In addition, it comes with an inbuilt Mini CRM Module for managing the customers and their sales funnel with assignment of customer visits with rich customer engagement features.
When it comes to asset monitoring, Nivaata Systems has in its portfolio a Vehicle Tracking Unit called Yantra which is a hi-end, ultra-compact and low power GPS tracking device featuring a native panic (SoS). The light weight and matchbox sized device has a battery life of more than 15 days and it enables businesses to track assets in both GPS and non-GPS scenarios. Yantra can be fully controlled and programmed through an extensive Verayu LaaS (Locations-as-a- Service) API which provides an extensive feature set for “location intelligence”.
Using Verayu LaaS API, Nivaata has also developed an end-to-end transport automation solution – Routematic, which is specifically targeted for employee transportation segment. Routematic includes all the hardware and software necessary for running the entire transport operations of large organizations from a centralized control room. The company sees Indian market as a promising one and it plans to grow rapidly in India for the next 12-18 months, and look at international expansion after that.
