This project consisted of the Government of Sikkim taking-up the computerization of the financial functions of the State Government in phases. HK Infoware, post conducting an extensive research and understanding the particular requirements, deployed a software solution which is essentially a centralized web application integrating the various functions of the Finance, Revenue and Expenditure Department and Government of Sikkim like Budget section, Pay & Accounts Offices, Pension section, Group Insurance section and so on. This project was completed effortlessly and brought about greater efficiency across all the processes. "Years of experience and commissioning a few large projects are the major differentiating factors that set us apart from other vendors in this market," reveals Harish. HK Infoware commenced its journey 30 years ago as it dived into the banking segment. In 2009, the company diversified into the e-governance sector, and as of today, holds one of the leadership positions in the e-governance sector. Apart from this sector, the company provides two innovative products ­ HK Star that caters to the hospitality industry and is reasonably priced, thus making it affordable for every customer; and Tulip Desk that has been designed and developed for the new age educational institutions. The product is equipped with a plethora of modules such as Student Admission, Student Information System, Curriculum, Fees, Attendance, Lesson Plan, Library, Stores, Transportation, Payroll and so on. The product focuses on running the entire school operations and can be regarded as an ERP for schools. It is a cloud based application which has a mobile interface and is hosted on Microsoft Azure.FURTHER BOLSTERING THE E-GOVERNANCE DOMAINThe company has gained a strong foothold across these domains and commands quite the market pres-ence. The company now envisions further penetrating the e-gover-nance sector and is currently in talks of partnering with a large player in the market to help extend its port-folio of services. "Apart from this, our focus is on the hospitality and schools with cloud based applica-tions which we want to promote in the future," signs-off Harish.
