With the introduction of a new remote managed services offering for customers, leading IoTOps solution provider SecuriThings has strengthened its partnership with Convergint, a top global systems integrator, to guarantee physical security devices function consistently, dependably, and securely throughout their entire lifecycle.

Companies make significant investments in physical security equipment. It is difficult to manually complete basic operational and maintenance chores like checking for cyber vulnerabilities, regularly updating firmware, changing passwords, and making sure all devices are operating at peak performance at all times. This is especially true when these devices are dispersed across many manufacturing sites, security management systems, and manufacturing brands. In light of this, businesses all over the world are searching more and more for creative ways to manage their devices and get the most out of their investments.

Convergint has created nine Convergint Service Centers around the world to ensure coverage 365 days a year, seven days a week, with real-time data and remote automation capabilities using the SecuriThings Managed Service Platform. This allows Convergint to carry out crucial maintenance procedures like firmware updates, password rotations, vulnerability detection, and more. Customers can be sure that operational difficulties will be swiftly identified, accurately diagnosed, and effectively fixed thanks to our exclusive cooperation. By automating these crucial processes, the new Managed Service solution protects physical security equipment from cyber threats and gives enterprises full visibility and compliance with IT policies and regulations.

"Many organizations, especially in the current climate, simply don't have the internal resources to commit to adequately manage the physical security assets that they've invested so much in," says Roy Dagan, co-founder and CEO of SecuriThings. "That's why we're so excited to be strengthening our partnership with Convergint, with an unprecedented managed service offering that enables Convergint customers to outsource this element of their physical security operations."

"Physical security devices have become increasingly IoT enabled and integrated into the Enterprise IT network. However, IT best practices, management and monitoring the health and wellness of these devices is often overlooked," according to Joe Young, Vice President, Partner Development for Convergint. "We are excited to partner with SecuriThings and incorporate their solution as a key component that enables Convergint to deliver Managed Services to our clients."

As businesses around the world look for more scalable and effective ways to maintain their physical security devices, this managed service offering will equip them with an automated solution that frees up their teams to work on strategic organisational tasks while entrusting resource-intensive yet crucial tasks that can be reliably carried out to an external team of experts equipped with cutting-edge automation technology to their system integrator partner.
