Teamlease Edtech, a provider of learning solutions, will shortly create a platform in collaboration with the Skill India initiative.

Potential companies will train pupils in the "Digivarsity" sector while they are still in college to improve their employability.

According to the company's CEO Shantanu Rooj, the programme would span 17 industries.

“We believe Automotive will be the biggest contributing sector. We’re also setting up collaborations between employers and students in banking, ecommerce, manufacturing, logistics, and other areas,” he said.

He stated that full scholarships will be awarded to half of the students who apply for these programmes.

In the 2022–23 fiscal year, the company earned Rs 85 crore in sales. It predicts growth of between 40 and 50 percent in the upcoming year.

According to ManpowerGroup's 2023 Talent Shortage study, a record-breaking 70% of employers worldwide said they had trouble filling positions. In India, 80% of employers reported a lack of competent workers.
