Wipro bags multi-year integration deal from HM Treasury

One of India's largest software exporter Wipro wins a multi-year service integration and management services from UK Government agency HM Treasury.

The service will enable integration of IT services across suppliers and partners, enhancing the user experience across HM Treasury and other government bodies and departments. The Bengaluru-based company did not disclose the size of the deal in the exchange filing.

Wipro and the UK Government department will collaborate strategy, design, and implementation to day-to-day coordination of service integration across its vendors, the filing added.

"The Wipro team will be acting as an orchestrator--managing and governing end to end service operations across all of HMT’s suppliers-- delivering operational efficiency, transparency and improved service quality," said Omkar Nisal, manager director UK & Ireland region at Wipro.
