AXIS Insurance, the specialty insurance busines section of AXIS Capital Holdings, has declared a strategic partnership with cybersecurity company Elpha Secure. The partnership will present cyber insurance and software protection to small businesses.

Elpha secure offers Elphaware, a software-as-a-service application that assists mitigate the risk of common cyber threats.

Elphaware gives small business owners with a suite of cybersecurity tools that work beside existing security measures. The software has five chief features:

• Secure, encrypted backups of critical data
• Multi-factor authentication for remote access
• The ability to restore compromised systems in hours
• Creation of a virtual private network (VPN)
• Insider threat and anomaly detection

Elphaware provides consumers with protection from social-engineering and malware attacks like ransomware, and enables small businesses to recover quickly after an incident.
