  • Delta and TNSDC to open free training centre in Krishnagiri.
  • Courses in automation, PLC, robotics, and ESDM with hands-on learning.
  • Focus on women, underprivileged youth, and job placement support.

Delta Electronics India has partnered with the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) to establish Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Krishnagiri district, which aims to bridge the skilling gap in Tier 2 and 3 regions, providing the youth with the skills needed for ultra-high-demand industrial roles.

CoE will offer training opportunities between three and six months in electronic system design and manufacturing (ESDM), industrial automation, programmable logic controller (PLC) programming, and robotics.

Training will be provided in smart classrooms, in real time simulation zones, and as hands-on learning on Delta’s automation technologies. Delta also announced that the syllabus had been finalized with its technical expert, and based on international certification standards.

"As India moves rapidly toward becoming a global manufacturing hub, skilled talent will be the key differentiator. This CoE is a direct reflection of Delta’s belief in inclusive progress—bringing education, industry, and innovation together", stated Benjamin Lin, President of Delta Electronics India.

The whole initiative is part of Delta's broader Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives and aligns with its overall workforce development objectives for India’s workforce. The MoU to partner was signed when the Naan Mudhalvan Finishing School (NMFS) initiative was launched at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.

"Through CoE, we are not only strengthening our commitment to nation-building but also creating pathways for underserved youth to access opportunities in high-growth sectors", said Niranjan Nayak, Managing Director, Delta Electronics India.

Delta will, whenever feasible, focus on enrolling females and candidates from economically disadvantaged communities. Alongside support for training, Delta will provide placement assistance, access to industry mentors, and an authentic introduction to modern factory settings.
