Hero Electric collaborates with ElectricPe for more EV charging points

Hero Electric,India's top electric two-wheeler company  has tied up with EV charging platform ElectricPe  for setting up charging points across the country. The collaboration will help Hero Electric riders to access ElectricPe's charging network, as the latter has recently committed itself to setting up 1,00,000 charging points by the end of this year.

While announcing the tie-up, Hero Electric said that the charging point network will be available in various locations like residential complexes, offices, malls, and other establishments.  The company also said, they will help in mitigating range anxiety among its users.

Charging infra crucial for more EV adoption.

The buiding of charging infrastructure has become of paramount importance with 2 million electric vehicles estimated to be plying the roads by 2026. And  Hero Electric is attempting do the same Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric, said, "a robust charging network is crucial for the growing EV sector for faster adoption of EVs across the segment."

This patnership will bring a seamless charging and EV riding experience to customers by easing the accessibility through ElectricPe's charging points that are getting installed on a large scale across the country. Avinash Sharma, Co-Founder & CEO, ElectricPe mentioned that the company's goal  has been to help make the transition to electric mobility smooth by making it inclusive and convenient for consumers pan-India for their varied commuting activities.
