L&T Technology Services designated as Strategic Engineering Partner to Airbus

An international leader in pure-play engineering services, L&T Technology Services Limited, today announced that it has been chosen by Airbus as a strategic engineering partner to provide advanced engineering capabilities and digital manufacturing services as part of a multi-year contract.

In accordance with this contract, LTTS will assist Airbus in important industry sectors and technological domains for its continuing Commercial and Innovation activities.

The advancement represents a significant stride in the relationship between LTTS and Airbus. LTTS provides engineering services across verticals like engineering, avionics, and digital for Airbus globally as well as for its India affiliate. The company was named a Global Strategic Engineering Supplier under the Airbus EMES3 (Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Services Strategic Suppliers) programme earlier in 2022. The company is also a member of the market-leading "Skywise Partner Program."

Engineers from LTTS will support Airbus' Numerical Control Programming (NCP) Cluster, which covers quick shop machining, control & metrology, drilling & riveting, composite production, trimming & cutting, standard machining, advanced machining, and technical support.

The design and stress support for advanced capabilities, such as modelling services, advanced failure analysis, vulnerability assessment, thermal analysis, and manufacturing simulation, will also be led by LTTS.

The engineering support will be provided on-site at Airbus operations in the UK, Germany, France, and Spain as well as from LTTS' offshore locations in Bengaluru, India, and its recently opened near shore facility in Toulouse, France.
