SecureIQLab, the industry leader in cloud validation, today announced a cooperation with Omdia, a leading worldwide technological research organisation, to offer businesses the most thorough assessments of extended detection and response (XDR) systems starting in June 2023.

The cybersecurity industry will benefit from an unprecedented synergy thanks to this special relationship. The cooperation will result in greater data sets for XDR solutions with deeper insights than ever before by fusing the capabilities of analyst research and third-party test validation.

The deployment of XDR systems in the enterprise was significantly boosted by the COVID-19 epidemic and the move to remote work. Enterprises must feel confident in the XDR solutions they are using now more than ever with the cost of a data breach reaching a record high of $4.35M globally.

“The collaboration between Omdia and SecureIQLab to objectively research the effectiveness of XDR solutions will provide the cybersecurity industry with deeper insights than ever before,” said David Ellis, vice president of research and corporate relations at SecureIQLab. “This partnership is a huge step forward for SecureIQLab in our mission to help enterprise buyers make the most informed decisions possible to keep their business safe and secure.”

The distinctive testing approach used by SecureIQLab generates factual data that can verify the claims made by XDR solutions and spot any flaws in the systems. Through this collaboration, SecureIQLab will provide Omdia with thorough, impartial data they can use to analyse solutions and give businesses the best advice possible.

Omdia has a wide network in the cybersecurity industry and a thorough grasp of the issues that businesses are attempting to resolve. These insights will aid SecureIQLab in developing the most pertinent testing possible and in identifying outcome-driven test metrics that are directly related to the most urgent security issues that businesses are currently dealing with.
