HCLTech Secures Contract From Siemens To Drive Cloud-led Digital Transformation

HCL Technologies has struck a multi-year managed public cloud services deal with Siemens AG, a German technology and high-tech industrial behemoth, to modernize its IT environment globally and fuel cloud-led digital transformation. The contract's value was not disclosed.
 
The company will concentrate on automating the public cloud while conforming to Siemens' security standards. HCLTech has been named one of the top global providers of horizontal IT infrastructure services.
 
"HCLTech will migrate and operate Siemens' infrastructure on AWS and Azure and ensure its cloud resources are optimised, secure and scalable, allowing the company to focus on its core business," the release said.
 
HCLTech is a global Indian information technology services and consulting firm located in Noida. When HCL joined the software services market in 1991, it became an independent firm. Forbes Global 2000 includes HCLTech. It is one of India's top 20 publicly listed firms, having a market valuation of 281,209 crore as of March 2022. It is one of the leading Big Tech (India) firms.
 
Siemens AG is a global technological firm headquartered in Germany. Its operations include process and manufacturing automation and digitalization, intelligent infrastructure for buildings and distributed energy systems, rail transport solutions, and health technology and digital healthcare services.
