“This partnership is a perfect offering to enterprises with complementary network and digital capabilities coming from both organizations," LTTS chief executive officer and managing director Amit Chadha told the publication.
The report cited a BSNL spokesperson who has confirmed the development. “5G is the next big enabler which can positively benefit the lives of millions of end-users, and we expect rapid adoption of private networks across use cases and major industries," the spokesperson was quoted as saying.
In the past, BSNL collaborated with indigenous companies Amantya Technologies and Echelon Edge to build private 5G networks for businesses.
Additionally, as part of its expansion ambitions, LTTS will concentrate on artificial intelligence and increase its headcount this year by a factor of five to 1,000.
The top executive claims that 5G offers a $1.3 trillion opportunity in a variety of industries, including healthcare, smart utilities, media and consumer applications, industrial production, and financial services.
“We play in areas of network maintenance, management, consulting, and rollout. So, the total addressable market will be $70 billion globally," he was quoted as saying while referring to enterprise 5G and its applications for augmented reality, virtual reality, and the Internet of Things.
