Google will partner to enhance the Andhra Pradesh startup ecosystem, aiming to drive innovation and entrepreneurship in AI. The entity revealed a strategic partnership with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to expedite the implementation and uptake of Artificial Intelligence (AI) throughout the state, according to a statement.

This partnership, solidified by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aims to advance the creation and application of AI solutions, targeting essential areas such as healthcare and sustainability, and also emphasizing improvements in digital infrastructure, AI skills training, and assistance for the local startup community, according to the announcement.

The MoU was exchanged in Amaravati, witnessed by Nara Lokesh, Minister of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, and Human Resources Development for Andhra Pradesh; between Bikram Singh Bedi, Vice President and Country MD of Google Cloud India, and S Suresh Kumar, Secretary of the Real Time Governance Society of Andhra Pradesh.

Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, said, "This collaboration aligns with our vision of using technology for the betterment of our citizens. We aim to empower every individual and business by harnessing the power of AI, building a thriving environment for innovation and growth across the state."
