Hitachi and Google Cloud Team up To Advance Innovation With Gen AI

Hitachi and Google Cloud declared a long term collaboration to speed up big business development and efficiency with generative AI. Hitachi will frame another specialty unit focused on assisting organizations with settling industry challenges with Gemini models, Vertex AI, and other cloud advancements, and it will embrace Google Cloud's artificial intelligence to improve its own offerings. Through the agreement, Hitachi sai, it will additionally speed up development of Lumada, its main digital business, and it will progress functional efficiencies for the Group.
Driven by GlobalLogic, a subsidiary of the Hitachi Group, the organizations will lay out the Hitachi Google Cloud Specialty Unit and the Google Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE) to scale Google Cloud innovation to new and existing endeavor customers. Furthermore, Hitachi will team up with Google Cloud to add training on Google Cloud's GenAI as a part of Hitachi's GenAI Professional training program.
Toshiaki Tokunaga, Executive Vice President and Executive Officer at Hitachi, said, “Through this partnership, Hitachi will leverage Google Cloud’s AI capabilities to improve and enhance employee productivity and accelerate innovation. By augmenting the capabilities of our developers and customer success units with Google Cloud GenAI solutions, such as Vertex AI and Gemini models, Hitachi will be able to better serve the needs of its customers in diverse industries and across complex domains such as energy, mobility, manufacturing and digital services.”
Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, said, “Our partnership with Hitachi will provide customers with the resources needed to optimally build, implement, and manage every stage of their generative AI projects.”
