HCLTech, OpenAI Partner to Scale Generative AI for Enterprises

HCL Technologies Ltd, a leading global IT services company, unveiled a multi-year strategic partnership with OpenAI, the renowned US-based artificial intelligence research organization. The collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of generative AI solutions among global enterprises, enabling transformative business outcomes, as announced in a regulatory filing to Indian stock exchanges.

HCLTech will integrate OpenAI’s advanced models, such as ChatGPT Enterprise and OpenAI APIs, into its internal operations and client-facing platforms. This includes proprietary offerings like AI Force, AI Foundry, AI Engineering, and various industry-specific AI accelerators.

The collaboration will provide end-to-end solutions that incorporate the processes of AI lifecycle assessments, model adaptation and enterprise-wide deployment, governance and change management.

Internally, HCLTech plans to deploy enterprise-grade generative AI tools to its workforce of over 223,000 employees across 60 countries. The partnership will also enable joint development of scalable GenAI applications tailored to enterprise needs.
