The Data Center Cooling Market was estimated at USD 10.75 billion and is projected to achieve USD 19.7 billion by 2029, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.62%. The worldwide market for cooling systems in data centers is experiencing an increase in the usage of air and water cooling solutions. Lately, there has been a rise in the usage of water-based direct-to-chip and immersion cooling techniques. A lot of data center operators are intrigued by immersion cooling technology due to its advanced cooling methods, which are also cost-efficient.
 
There will be a rise in the need for cooling immersion in the upcoming years. An example is LG Uplus revealing the establishment of a new data center in Paju, South Korea, in May 2024. The company has also revealed its implementation of an immersion cooling system.
