
PhonePe Join hands with eSewa and HAN Pokhara To Advance UPI in Nepal

The alliance is part of the Fewa New Year Celebration, which will be effective from April 11-14 in Nepal. More than 3,000 vendors will participate in the celebration, and more than 100,000 guests are expected to visit.
PhonePe, in a proclamation, said it will run an on-ground enactment to raise awareness among neighborhood traders about digital payments while demonstrating the comfort of advanced installments for clients. With booths showing how to utilize advanced installments and other intelligent exercises, PhonePe, alongside eSewa and HAN Pokhara, will exhibit the simplicity of UPI (Unified Payments Interface) payments.
"Our focus will be on creating merchant education and awareness to ensure the uptick of UPI on the Fonepay Network in Nepal," said Ritesh Pai, CEO International Payments, PhonePe.
PhonePe is an Indian digital payments and monetary administration organization settled in Bengaluru. PhonePe was established in December 2015 by Sameer Nigam, Rahul Chari and Burzin Engineer.
The company's application is available in 11 Indian dialects. It empowers users to perform different monetary exchanges, for example, sending and getting cash, re-energizing versatile and DTH administrations, topping up data cards, making utility installments, and leading in-store installments.
