Eagle Technologies, a systems integrator situated in Bridgman, Michigan, and specialises in fully automated manufacturing and testing solutions, has been acquired by Convergix Automation Solutions, an automation solutions provider backed by renowned private equity firm Crestview Partners ("Crestview").

Eagle is the fourth acquisition in Crestview's plan to grow Convergix into a diversified automation solutions provider aiming for the $500+ billion market, with a focus on the $70 billion global systems integration and connectivity segments. The other three acquisitions were JMP Solutions in August 2021, Classic Design in February 2022, and AGR Automation in August 2022. The transaction's financial details weren't made public.

Eagle is a prominent designer, developer, and integrator of cutting-edge, high-value automated systems for global clients in a range of industries, including electric vehicle & battery, health sciences, and consumer goods. Eagle's operations date back to 1953. Almost 300 people work for Eagle at three facilities in southwest Michigan, and they have advanced product testing skills and end-to-end systems integration capabilities. Eagle's President Brandon Fuller will keep up his existing position of leadership, and the company's President Emeritus Mike Koziel will continue in an advisory capacity.

"The acquisition of Eagle accelerates Convergix's growth and adds significant scale and capabilities to the platform, bringing Convergix's pro forma revenue to approximately $250 million," said Mike DuBose, Executive Chairman of Convergix. "Eagle brings longstanding customer relationships and market-leading technical capabilities serving a variety of strategic end markets. We are excited to partner with the Eagle team to continue building a world-class provider of custom automation solutions and services to global customers, and we look forward to leveraging our existing operations across North America, Europe, and Asia to create more opportunities for Eagle to continue delivering exceptional customer solutions."

Mike Koziel noted, "I am immensely proud of the innovative capabilities, quality solutions, exceptional customer relationships, and most importantly the outstanding team and culture that we have built and nurtured every day at Eagle. The Eagle team is thrilled to join Convergix and to leverage its operational expertise, systems and experience to accelerate Eagle's growth and enhance our ability to serve our valued customers."

With acquiring Eagle, Convergix now employs over 900 people across 25 locations in 25 different countries, serving a wide range of end markets. Convergix has a wealth of experience working with clients in industries like food and beverage, electric cars, renewable energy, medical sciences, consumer goods, automotive, general industry, and more to create cutting-edge solutions.
