  • Built with NVIDIA H200 GPUs, in partnership with UAE’s Presight AI.

Kazakhstan has made a giant leap toward digital sovereignty with the unveiled of Central Asia's most powerful supercomputer. powered by NVIDIA H200 GPUs. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev opened the system at the new National Computer Center, which is operated by the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry.

This high-performance computing cluster has a remarkable performance of 2 exaflops, equivalent to 2 quintillion operations per second with a goal of transforming digital opportunity for Kazakhstan in the fields of education, AI research, and industry innovation.

President Tokayev pointed to the launch as a steppingstone to digital transformation of Kazakhstan shared that with the computing cluster, startups, universities, research institutes and private enterprises in the country will have access to a powerful computing resource. The launch will also bolster the country's initiative to become less dependent on global providers of cloud computing, such as Amazon and Google, by enabling the capture of capital and data security.
