Oracle India has announced a number of initiatives and updates targeted at improving local enterprises' ability to utilize artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Srikanth Doranadula, an Oracle India representative, emphasized the company's commitment on assisting Indian organizations in building safe AI models on-premises with an emphasis on privacy and low latency architecture. This program is designed to speed up AI data processing, accelerate AI model training, and improve inventory management.

The improvements were illustrated through the example of Tanishq, a prominent jewelry brand that experienced an operational boost following its migration to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The brand leveraged Oracle Apex, an application development platform, to streamline its operations effectively, as per investing news.

In addition to these advancements, Oracle has made substantial advances in database administration by introducing vector database support into MySQL. This development enables the use of huge language models, which are becoming increasingly crucial in today's data-driven economy. Furthermore, Oracle's Analytics Cloud now includes generative AI capabilities, enhancing data analysis and giving deeper insights.

Oracle's commitment to increasing cloud services in India is further demonstrated by its relationships with Indian Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) through the Cohere and Oracle Alloy initiatives. These agreements are intended to broaden the availability of cloud services across the country.

Oracle has made significant investments in research and development in the area to demonstrate its commitment to the "Make in India" effort. The firm serves a diverse client base across India and intends to extend its cloud region footprint beyond the existing centers in Hyderabad and Mumbai. The proposed Bangalore expansion will provide extra infrastructure and assistance for Indian firms wishing to use cloud solutions.
