Vipin Chandran Elevated From Chief Partner to Managing Director of SAP

SAP, a multinational software company,  has announced the appointment of Vipin Chandran as the managing director of SAP Malaysia. Vipin has more than 25 years of experience as a seasoned business leader. He has a significant record of building winning groups, encouraging organizations, and conveying effective cloud transformations to his new role.
 
In the new role as managing director, Vipin will center on reinforcing the digital transformation abilities of associations in Malaysia and speeding up their development in the rising AI intelligence economy. He will focus on assisting organizations with building strong and agile supply chains and making a more sustainable future.
 
“Malaysia’s digital economy continues to be one of the country’s strongest and fastest-growing sectors, accounting for more than 23 percent of its GDP last year. The country’s latest Budget signals the government’s commitment to continue its transformation into a regional digital powerhouse. I am excited to take the helm at SAP Malaysia at this crucial juncture and look forward to working closely with both public and private sector organisations to navigate this dynamic landscape together,” Vipin said.
 
Vipin began working with SAP in 2008. Before being appointed to the managing director role, he worked as chief partner officer at SAP Southeast Asia. He was liable for enabling the progress of over 500 partner organizations. He was also in several other roles, such as partner leadership, services, and sales across various zones. 
 
Commenting on Vipin’s appointment, Verena Siow, president and managing director, SAP SEA, said, "I am thrilled to welcome Vipin as the new leader of SAP Malaysia.
