Deloitte revealed that it is collaborating with academic institutions through the AI Academy to invest in professional development. In order to upskill early career professionals and give them the skills they need for practical AI and data science projects, the Deloitte AI Academy is expanding to offer customized Generative AI training curricula to its professionals and clients. Up to 10,000 Deloitte practitioners might be trained by the AI Academy, which is creating curricula in collaboration with important American and Indian technology institutions including Virginia Tech and the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee.

Academy students will get access to renowned experts on AI through partnerships with these organizations, as well as research, creative concepts, exercises, and intellectual property, as well as domain and industry expertise from Deloitte. For various levels of experts, there are a variety of courses available, ranging from fundamental Generative AI fluency to more in-depth technical abilities like sophisticated prompt engineering procedures and fine-tuning. Additionally, technical experts can upgrade their skills in fields centered on cutting-edge data and technology by earning advanced certifications in cooperation with tech businesses.

“The surge in popularity of Generative AI is driving a need for skills in this emerging area. In addition to the theory and the science of AI, we’re offering practical, hands-on experience to help our practitioners understand the context in which AI is applied, how it’s applied and where it’s applied," said Mike Luk, managing director and US AI Academy Dean of Deloitte Consulting LLP. “This expansion is delivered through the Deloitte Technology Academy, part of Deloitte’s $1.4 billion Project 120 investment in learning and development.”
