ISRO to Foster Technological Innovations in Key Sectors

The Indian Space Research Organisation has decided to extend its support for technological innovations across key industries in the state of Chhattisgarh.  During his recent visit to New Delhi, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met ISRO Chairman V Narayan and conducted extensive discussions on utilizing space technology for water resource management, disaster mitigation, agriculture and environmental conservation.  

“With ISRO’s collaboration, Chhattisgarh will adopt a scientific approach to resolve key challenges. This initiative will equip farmers with precise data, optimise resource management, and accelerate the state’s overall progress,” said CM Sai.

“By integrating cutting-edge space technologies, we intend to enhance good governance and create a roadmap for the future. This initiative will empower our research institutions, providing young scientists and technologists with opportunities to contribute to nation-building,” CM Sai added.

A high-level ISRO team will have a visit to Chhattisgarh as part of this initiative for conducting a comprehensive study leveraging satellite imagery, Geographic Information System (GIS )as well as advanced data analytics.
