Apple Teams up With Canal To Bring Apple TV Content To All Subscribers

A multi-year agreement between Apple and Canal+, a well-known French premium television channel and streaming service, has been reached. Beginning on April 20, all current and future Canal+ members in France and some other European nations will have free access to Apple TV+ programming.
This is a strange bargain because Canal+ is including more than simply Apple TV+ in its services. It's not like carrier offers; with their most expensive subscription plans, telecom providers frequently throw in a few months of Apple TV+, Disney+, or Netflix.
Apple TV+ content will instead be accessible directly through the Canal+ app (myCanal). For those who still watch live TV, several programmes, such as "The Morning Show," "Foundation," and "Téhéran," will also be aired on Canal+'s premium TV channels.

Given that Canal+ is incorporating more than just Apple TV+ in its services, this deal is peculiar. Contrary to carrier offerings, telecom providers frequently include a few months of Apple TV+, Disney+, or Netflix with their most expensive subscription plans.
Instead, Apple TV+ content will be immediately accessible via the Canal+ app (myCanal). Several shows, including "The Morning Show," "Foundation," and "Téhéran," will also be carried on Canal+'s premium TV channels for viewers who still watch live TV.
Apple can reach a far larger audience by collaborating with a local player like Canal+. Canal+ has 9.5 million customers in France alone. Several nations in Europe and Africa also provide Canal+. In total, it has more than 25 million paying customers.
