Inside the extensive Kumbh Mela grounds, the company has stationed 78 operational Cell on Wheels (COW) to ensure uninterrupted mobile connectivity. These improvements reach beyond the mela grounds to transport routes, railway stations, the airport, hotels, and various busy locations across Prayagraj.
Airtel has established three war rooms in Jhusi, Arail, and Sangam areas in preparation for possible emergencies. These war rooms are backed by a committed disaster management team, furnished with vital resources like additional generators, diesel stock, and crucial gear to guarantee swift reactions in the event of network interruptions.
Moreover, Airtel has collaborated with the Prayagraj Traffic Police to set up more than 780 kiosks at the entry and exit locations of the Kumbh site. These kiosks present crucial safety guidelines and offer directional support to help control the large crowds and guarantee an enjoyable experience for visitors.
Airtel has made considerable efforts to guarantee seamless connectivity throughout the large event. The telecom giant has put into place various strategies to improve network coverage and meet the communication demands of the large influx of pilgrims.
Airtel's proactive strategies highlight its dedication to providing dependable communication services during major events such as the Maha Kumbh, which draws millions of devotees from around the world.
