In order to provide best-in-class collaboration security and people insights, Aware, a pioneer in collaboration intelligence, security, and employee sentiment research, today announced a partnership with World Wide Technology (WWT). According to the terms of the agreement, Aware will give WWT customers more insight into the goals, habits, and needs of their employees as well as the security, governance, and compliance measures required when introducing collaborative technologies.

The collaboration will advance the vital task of employee empowerment and ensuring that their perspectives are heard in the digital workplace. With the help of Aware's clever sentiment analysis, business leaders can spot significant trends and problems that pop up in employee communications across a variety of channels, cutting through the chatter of collaboration to find what really matters—and adopt a reasoned approach to making positive change.

Organizations will be able to establish security, governance, and compliance controls within their collaboration environments with the help of Aware and WWT. These essential characteristics satiate legal and information security requirements to safeguard the digital workplace from regulatory noncompliance, insider threats, and data loss. Customers may undertake eDiscovery, put data holds in place, and centrally manage retention policies for all channels and messages with the help of Aware. The alliance will also introduce the barriers needed for more secure and productive communication.

"To create a better customer experience, you don't start with the customer, you start with the employee. Aware is instrumental in reducing people, data and compliance risks across digital conversations, while also generating incredible insights to drive increased business value," said Jeff Schumann, CEO, Aware. "We're thrilled to partner with WWT to help our mutual customers extract these insights, as well as keep these businesses secure and safe from the potential threats that inherently come from human interaction."

Organizations have an untapped opportunity to use communication data to better understand employee sentiment and track topics, keywords, and shared content, which enables leadership teams to make decisions that have far-reaching, long-lasting effects. A private group has a 135% higher likelihood of toxic messages than a public setting, and 43% of all messages are private. Furthermore, the risk is increased because one in every 166 mails contains extremely sensitive data like personally identifiable information (PII), proprietary information, passwords, and code.

"Thanks to collaboration platforms, the voice of the customer and the employee are both getting louder and easier to measure, which presents a golden opportunity for customers. At the same time, if these channels are not being properly monitored, they can inadvertently cause irreparable harm," said Marlan K. Hardie, Chief Digital Officer, World Wide Technology. "World Wide Technology is pleased to partner with Aware, a cutting-edge leader in collaboration intelligence and security, to provide our customers with deeper insights that will enable them to bolster their businesses and improve employee satisfaction, while making them more secure in the process."
