Edtech Firm BYJU's Is Now ICC's Global Partner For 3 Years

The International Cricket Council (ICC) located in Dubai, on Monday announced edtech company BYJU’s as its global partners from 2021 to 2023.

BYJU’s entered into an agreement for three years with ICC for all its events during the timeline. It includes the forthcoming t20 World Cup in India, and the Women’s World Cup in New Zealand.

ICC stated in a media release that, BYJU’s, now, being the global partner will have extensive in-venue, broadcast and digital rights for all ICC events.

BYJU’s will work closely with the ICC for increasing the fans’ engagement through the creation of innovative campaigns.

The ICC Chief Executive, Manu Sawhney, said, “We are excited onboarding BYJU’s as one of the global partners and we look forward towards building a great innings together. Cricket is a sport where resilience, perseverance, and conviction are important qualities and the partnership with BYJU’s will allow to foster the same by a wider audience – both young and old.”

The CEO and Founder of BYJU’s, Byju Raveendran, said, “It is a matter of pride for us as an Indian company as we represent the nation on a global platform like ICC. Alike cricket, being a learning company, we inspire billions of people in the world and strongly believe to inspire the love of learning in every child’s life.”

In August 2019, BYJU’s became the official jersey partner of the Indian Cricket Team.
