Hyundai to Unveil New Blue Link App with Remote Start Feature

FREMONT, CA: Hyundai, the South Korean automotive manufacturer will be unveiling its new Blue Link app at the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 in Las Vegas. The app which allows remote locking has been developed in partnership with StationDigital–a free music streaming, live station and recommendation service. The new app is designed to explore the use of wearable technology, and Blue Link in a customer’s lifestyle according to Barry Ratzlaff of Hyundai Motor America, as reported by tech.firstpost.com. Smartphones can be connected to Blue Link app using bluetooth technology. With this app’s remote access feature, the smartphone can manifest itself as remote control. Remote access allows the user to start the Hyundai vehicle remotely using mobile app. It also allows the user to set engine, time and cabin temperature, and provides the option of stopping the engine immediately. With the help of this app locking and unlocking of the car is made simple, and the app also assist law enforcement agencies in tracing and recovery of the vehicle. Hyundai Blue Link is an integrated multimedia navigation system using a connected mobile phone to gather information such as traffic updates and information updates. Besides this, the integrated system comes with connected care and destination search features and all the features are tied together with voice recognition.
