SAP Labs India's Managing Director Anirban Dey quits SAP

Bangalore: SAP Labs India recently made the announcement of its Managing Director, Anirban Dey, quitting the company on personal reasons. Dey took charge of the post in January 2013 and has been serving the company since 2008.

Founded in 1972, SAP AG (SAP: NYSE) is the world leader in enterprise software and software-related services. With the current market cap of $92.7 billion, the company has branched out its locations in more than 130 countries. The 1998 born SAP Labs India is recognized for its leaner, faster and more efficient development methods that helps in upgrading its research & breakthrough innovation, product development, customer solutions and operations and on the like areas.  Being the Managing Director of such prestigious and innovative network, Anirban Dey was known as the leader of innovation and operational efficiencies. He was associated with SAP Labs since 2008 and is credited with driving SAP Hana-based platforms such as SAP Auction Analytics and SAP Game Analytics.

In the place of Dey, Clas Neumann, Senior Vice President and Global Head of SAP Network will be handling Dey’s responsibilities till the company appoints new Managing Director. Commenting on the same, Clas Neumann says, I want to take the opportunity to thank Anirban Dey for his leadership and contributions to SAP over the years.
