Trend Micro Codinsanity 2014: One step ahead in crafting a different approach to the solutions
New Delhi: The global leader in cloud security, Trend Micro is completely packed-up to host its annual programming contest named as the Trend Micro Codinsanity 2014 Asia Pacific Programming Contest. The competition is starting its rounds on 5th July and is extending opportunities for both working professionals and the students across twelve markets in Asia-Pacific to join in as the contestants this year. The online registration for the big competition is till 17th June and the registration is open for the young enthusiasts of China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

With the idea of solving algorithmic challenges in big data, the new competition, The Trend Micro Codinsanity 2014 Asia Pacific Programming Contest is inviting its participants to think big, push boundaries and explore alternative solutions for better link data sets, refine recommendation engines or add intelligence to existing processes. In order to help the participants, the company is also making its optional coaching services available to all participating teams from the time of registration to the finals.

The winning team receives a cash price of $20,000. In addition, the team also gets the opportunity of interning with the company for two months. The first runner-up, second runner-up and finalist teams will receive $10,000, $6,000 and $2,000 respectively.
